When it comes to summer time one of the most irritating things for me is dealing with all the bugs that like to come out along with that sunshine and warm weather. I hate mosquitoes. Sometimes I try not to stay out too late during the evening in the summer time because of the fear that I’m going to get eaten up by mosquitoes! People have told me to just buy some insect repellent but I don’t like the tacky feeling that product leaves on my skin, and the smell makes me nauseous sometimes. Then one day I say OFF! Skintastic Magicolor Insect Repellent, Disappearing Purple. Judging from the purple bottle and pink cap I initially thought the product was just for kids, including the fact that the repellent was purple, but when I read the bottle it didn’t say anything about it being just for kids. I actually thought it was pretty cool how the repellent comes out of the bottle purple but when I rubbed it into my skin the purple completely went away. It didn’t leave that
sticky uncomfortable feeling on my hands or skin either. On top of that, the smile was not nauseating; it had a pleasant smell that wasn’t overpowering to me. Most of all, the repellent kept the mosquitoes off of my skin. The only thing I didn’t really like was how it seemed like the repellent came off once water hit my skin. I dipped my feet in the pool and noticed that the repellent began to get slippery like it was coming off. I wouldn’t rely on it to work against water so that’s one thing I have to keep in mind when I use the repellent.
