Well, when it comes to entertainment value it definitely does its job…it plays movies with excellent picture and sound quality - either the same movie on both screens or two different movies showing on each screen. The screens are 7 inches in size, which I thought might be a bit small as there are 9 inch ones out there and bigger too, but the size is perfectly fine really. Of course the sound from one screen may interfere with the other, but you do have the option of inserting headphones too. There are two straps, one elastic and one with Velcro, to make sure the screen is securely fastened to the head restraint.

Only real complaint, and a minor one at that, is that the wires could have been a bit longer as it only just reaches the socket when a screen is placed at the very back row in our van. However, again a lot of vans have an extra socket at the back so you would not have this problem.

Just be careful not to let them keep watching when you turn off the car or you may find your battery is flat (I learned the hard way!). Would have been nice if there was a separate rechargeable battery - some models have this - but not a real disadvantage if only used in the car. Also comes with plug adapter so they can continue watching if you’re staying in a hotel, or someone’s place, etc. Comes with a handy carrying case and also has a pair of remote controls. I would highly recommend this item for anyone going on a long trip in a vehicle with kids.
