When I was in college, I have tried several products because I keep getting pimples during my monthly period. I fell for the Eskinol Adverstisement and tried their newly released product which was Eskinol DermaClear-C Overnight Pimple Gel. My cousin is using this and I first tried it from her with the suggestion of my aunt. My first experience is terrible. I do not know that it feels like that and I felt the stinging and piercing sensation. I actually shed a tear because of it. Funny, but it really stings. It is because of the salicylic acid component of this product. I have not read it on the warning; it really says that it is normal to feel the stinging sensation.

People say that it is a miracle cream, for me it is not. Yes it dries out the pimple easily but it leaves a dark pimple scar. I remember how it flattened my bumpy and sore pimple but it also make the spot peels continuously. The product is affordable but not that effective. Aside from the fact that it takes more than one application, the applied gel leaves residue on the skin once dried. I would prefer using white toothpaste on my pimple on this one. It is much cooler and mild on pimples unlike this pimple gel. I still have this product at home but I am no longer using it. Every time I see a pimple, I take an antibiotic
