Sony Vaio PCG-7M1MItem: Sony Vaio PCG-7M1M
The Vaio PCG-7M1M is a laptop released by Sony, and is only the second laptop I have ever owned. The time had come to part with my trusted Dell, which I had owned for a few years, and pay for something with a bit more quality. Sony are probably the most reliable brand I know, so picking them was an easy choice, but why did I pick the Vaio PCG-&M1M?
….Because, for a start, it looks and sounds great. If I’m going to get a new laptop I don’t want to use it purely for work, I want it for movies and games as well. The Vaio has one of the sharpest pictures and crispest sounds available, and this was a leading factor for me. Then there is also the factor of reliability. Sony guarantees reliability, and judging by the number of issues I encountered with my previous laptop, and the fact that I am borderline computer illiterate, I wanted something reliable and that would be easy to use. Since purchasing the laptop I have encountered only one problem with it in eighteen months, and this was that it would not load up Windows. I gave it to a friend who determined that it was a hardware problem, rebooted Windows XP for me, and now it runs perfectly. Other than this small issue I have found the laptop very easy to use, with exceptional picture and sound quality, and a system that runs very fast. I would recommend this model to anyone thinking of buying a new laptop. Rating: 10
