Dalacin-C Clindamycin 300mg capsuleItem: Dalacin-C Clindamycin 300mg capsule
It was my first time to use Dalacin-C Clindamycin 300mg capsule last week. I consulted my dermatologist because of a big pimple that formed on top of my nose. It was so painful, it gave me throbbing headaches and it gave me some embarassment because my nose was very red and swollen. After examining my nose, she said that it was a very dangerous area for having a pimple since this area have direct connections with the insides of my skull thus can cause potential brain infection. She advised me to wash my face more frequently with soap and water and take Dalacin-C Clindamycin 300mg four times a day for 7 days. Afraid that what she said might turn out to be true I followed each of her instructions religiously.
I washed my face about three to four times a day and took Dalacin-C thrice a day. After 24 hours of Dalacin-C intake, I have noticed that my pimple started to be less swollen and less painful. It thus encourages me to continue and so after 7 days my pimple nose my nose and other parts of my face were completely gone. Thus I highly recommend this medication for people who have infected skinproblem just like I did. It’s really good for these kinds of problem. Try it to see and believe! Rating: 10

Dalacin-C is an antibiotic mostly used to treat bacterial infections most commonly noted on the skin or mucous surfaces such as the lining within your mouth and gums. However it can be also be used as prophylaxis. Since you had tooth extraction, it exposes your injured gum, where your tooth was previously planted, to any harmful bacteria that might lead to infection thus you dentist gave you Dalacin-C to prevent such infection to occur.

I am taking Dalacin C 300mg for an infection caused by the IV in a hospital. How can I test to see if the infection is gone? Blood test? for what?

Do you mean phlebitis? If yes, then taking Dalacin-C is a good choice. There is no need to look at any blood test. If the fever goes down and the swelling of the IV site sibsides, then it means your problem is responding to Dalacin-C. Blood tests and other test which are only confirmatory will only add burden into your pocket.
