Challenge by Lacoste perfumeItem: Challenge by Lacoste perfume
Another creative masculine combination from Lacoste is the latest scent named Challenge. The perfume creates a strong entrance with a simple story and that is the energetic feel that you will get from the scent. The name reads, ” Challenge” and what is inside is what is needed for any challenge.
The face of the campaign is no less than Hayden Christensen. The ad pictured him jumping and catching the perfume. Somewhat reminiscent of the movie Jumper. It was not something impressive. And the ad was very literal to what the story is all about. I was hoping they would go for somebody athletic which would bring a strong formidable evidence of persistence amidst all challeges. The scent opens with energetic feel of tangerine and lemon with dozes of bergamot. Then it segues to combination of ginger softened with lavender and violet. Then it rests with ebony and teak wood. The first sniff was great. The bursting citrusy aroma is indeed energetic and what you need for a headstart. The heart also stirred relaxing ambiance because of lavender. Then tonka bean and ebony created a soft finish. I like the combination and how appropriate the notes were for what the scent was all about. The scent is oil-based. This is not advisable if you are wearing white or light-colored fabrics. What I don’t like were the ad and the fact that this one is oil-based. The scent per se is impressive. Rating: 7
