The integral piece to this collection is already selling out: it’s the eyeshadow quad, the Guerlain ‘Ombré Éclat Exotic Paradise’ Eyeshadow Palette. Both the eyeshadows and the gorgeous compact are decorated with a bird of paradise. The eyeshadow colors are etched with gold and include a lime green, a fresh orange, dusty rose, and chocolate brown. They blend easily for several gorgeous looks; I like to use the lime green as an all-over shadow for the lid, then dust the eyelid with chocolate brown, and use the pink and orange to highlight the brow arch. Next, for a bright and shiny infusion of color, I love the Guerlain ‘KissKiss’ Gloss in three fresh new colors for spring. First is Orange Interdite, a bronze tangerine; then there’s Cerise Tentation, a hot passion fruit pink; and last, Pomme du Desir, a pear green shimmer. The colors are pert and perky and match the eyeshadow quad. I love them because they give your lips a plump look. To frame and compliment the lush tropical eyeshadow in this collection, I recommend the Le 2 de Guerlain Mascara. I love the double sided mascara brush: no lash is left behind. It adds length and curl with a single stroke. It made my list because it’s long lasting and doesn’t clump. Rating: 8
