I consider this to be a flavorful and somewhat healthy breakfast cereal and afternoon snack. In this cereal are a numerous number of wonderfully tasty and nutritious raisins just waiting to be enjoyed. My only complaint is, along with the great flavor comes a great number of calories as well - almost two hundred per serving! That is a higher amount than I am comfortable with and I generally prefer cereals that have reasonably low calorie counts. That is why I do not have this cereal regularly. Kellogg’s has improved though. There used to be a lot more sugar in this cereal, but they have cut back on it thankfully. I cannot say I notice much of a difference between the old and new Raisin Bran, either. This is also one of the cheaper cereals down the cereal aisle - normally I pay around $2.50 for a box and that is cheap compared to some cereals that I buy, which sometimes come close to or exceed $4.00 a box. Of course, those are healthier cereals, but Raisin Bran seems to be a
fairly healthy cereal for its price in my opinion. That is why I recommend those that are in search of flavorful and somewhat healthy but not high priced cereal pick up a box of Kellogg’s Raisin Bran, especially if you love snacking on raisins! If you do, this cereal will seem like candy to you!
