Mission M1 Hockey StickItem: Mission M1 Hockey Stick
Recently I have seen Mission M1 hockey sticks on sale in most hockey stores, is it not a coincidence that the M1 hockey sticks are also the ones I see laying broken in the trash? I think not. I have known 4 people who have experienced the poor quality of the M1 hockey stick. Each one of them has broken their stick not because of an error on their part, but because of the poor quality which seems that the mission hockey stick has seem to become known for. The first person I knew that had the M1 hockey stick broke his stick the very week he got it, due to a normal slap-shot. The shaft split in half. The second person I knew had his M1 hockey stick for a couple of weeks and it was performing well…until it snapped because it was caught between a closing door. A hockey stick should not break because it gets caught in the door! The next two people experienced the most common problem of the M1 hockey sticks. After owning the hockey stick for maybe 3 months, the blades of the sticks cracked and/or snapped off, making the stick useless. Two of the unfortunate people send the stick back only to recieve a new one, which broke weeks later. I have seen countless numbers of M1 Hockey sticks laying in the trash because they are broken. It seems that the company Mission lacked the skills to produce a durable hockey stick. Now the sticks are on sale and usually come with a back-up blade. The performance of the stick is good however, until it breaks. The stick is very unreliable and not very durable. You are better off investing in a more expensive stick that will last you longer.
