I was pretty happy with my stay at this old, but well-maintained, resort. My room was one that had a beautiful complete kitchen that had appliances that were simple to use and quick with the results. The spacious living room had comfortable chairs and a lovely couch that was as comfortable as some of the good beds that I had slept in in previous hotels. It was a perfect room to just sit down, relax and talk, read, work on a laptop and eat. All the time I was there the resort seemed blanketed with quietness - but that did not mean it was a dull place! Basically, I would compare the silence to that found in a pleasant residential community. The room was very clean, much like the rest of the resort, so cleanliness certainly is not a problem here! My only complaint about the room, and it is a small one, but the lightening was not all that terrific in my room. It seemed a bit on the dark side in the bathroom in particular. There were a variety of fun and refreshing activities to take part in like tennis and swimming. The tennis courts were large and flat and offered a nice degree of privacy. The swimming pool was large and gorgeous and thankfully it never seemed super crowded. The surrounding areas were all flourishing with greenery and pleasant to the eye, and I enjoyed several peaceful yet invigorating walks and jogs. The food served was quite good although at times it seemed like it would take awhile for the food to arrive and to get the waitress’ attention. They seemed understaffed at times, but the workers seemed to be trying to make up for the fact that they were short on help by being extra courteous and friendly. The workers here really are some very lovely people and I enjoyed talking with them. I feel this resort is well worth the reasonable price, especially if you are looking for a place that offers a lot of peace and tranquility. The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the scenery and the resort, inside and out, is very easy on the eyes. I
will one day return to this resort, no question about it!
