Brownstone Inn Au Train MichiganItem: Brownstone Inn
If ever in the area of Munising or Marquette in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, I highly recommend that you try the Brownstone Inn located on M-28 between these two cities. The Brownstone Inn is an experience in itself. It is an older building, built in the 1940s I believe and has a stone front and is located outside of Au Train, Michigan (sort of out in the middle of no where). The inside of the restaurant is not fancy, with wooden tables and chairs. They specialize in fish, but also have prime rib, pork ribs, beef wellington, chicken and several other dinners to choose from. Their fries are hand-cut. Our family has dined here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Their food is delicious and they have quite a variety to choose from. There is a bar within the restaurant, so it can be loud at times, but it is a place for the whole family to dine. Rating: 10
