Everyone - I’m excited to review a new music group that includes Alaina Whitaker, Andrea Young, and Erin James; yup, Alaina is the Alaina from American Idol ! I wouldn’t compare them to the Dixie Chicks; though they have a similar name and numbers in the group. Alaina has a wonderful, mature voice, and the other girls can harmonize very well. You won’t hear about them with the mainstream syndicated radio just yet, however they have performed with Brooks and Dunn ! They are in Oklahoma, and they’re really good. They have strength to carry a big album and make it a hit; their voices blend well together and Alaina is just plain GOOD. In my humble and honest opinion, I think she could match Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson, she just needs more press. The other girls I can’t really comment on because I haven’t heard them sing as much, only harmonize, but they work well together. Andrea is great on fiddle and you can tell she is accomplished, and Erin is a nice addition as a
guitar player. I think these girls will be great ! They do have a gorgeous Myspace page, and hopefully we will be getting a full length album on the mainstream soon - they def have a mainstream sound ! I am so proud of them opening for Brooks and Dunn … I didn’t get to see them but I’m sure they did great. Please check out their Myspace page; I KNOW they are going to be a great act to follow.
