Wu-Yi TeaItem: Wu-Yi Tea
So, I already wrote a review of TriSlim, but I felt I should review this other bogus company while I was at it. Wu-Yi Tea offers a trial membership for their Chinese tea that apparently helps you lose weight. They send you 60 tea bags and all you pay is shipping, I think it was like $5.
So, I got my tea. It actually tasted pretty good! I liked it. So, I kept the tea and decided I just wouldn’t request another shipment. Well, they decided to charge me $80 for the tea. Then when I contacted their department the gentleman told me that I was sent a shipment and I could refuse it and get my money back, no such package was received. They will not refund my money, until they get their tea back. What a pain. I tell him, okay just cancel the stupid membership. So he sends me back this long e-mail saying my cancellation number and all that, I saw WHEW and be done with it. Well, I really do need to learn to read things more carefully, because at the bottom of my cancellation e-mail, there was two phone numbers to cancel two other memberships I was apparently registered for. I didn’t notice this until I had 4 weird charges on my account. Two for $4.95 from a Web Membership and then two for $9.95 for a Membership. My bank account could not give me the name of the company. I was ready to dispute the charges but then the bank traced the charges back to Wu-Yi tea. I contacted the companies. One refunded everything, the other only refunded half. Now I find it odd that if they are two totally different companies, why they had the same number to call on my bank account charges and why both of them charged me twice for their service by mistake, I’m just saying. I don’t think the company is useless because of the hidden stuff because at this point I’m used to it. But apparently they are a scam company trying to make money off of tea that is not theirs to sell. I had a heck of a time finding the right company name to get the account cancelled. Luckily, the original company has a message that gives the name of this scam company and a phone number to reach them by. So, I don’t recommend this company at all. Now the tea, that was okay.
