Well Adobe’s Creative Suite is essential for my career as a graphic designer in that it allows me to design advertisements and layout pages for the newspaper in a professional manor. 99% of the graphics feild uses Adobe’s Creative Suite for their creative work. I love it.
It is a complicated type of software if you are just learning how to use it. There are so many books for a person to read to better understand it. You can even get certified in this software. The price dollar wise is a whole other topic.
Generally the main things that are used in the Adobe Creative Suite are Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. (These are for Print Media, there are other Creative Suite packages for other types of media).
The biggest problem is it is soooo expensive. I use this software everyday at work and I can not afford to buy it for home. I don’t understand why Adobe can not make this affordable for people in the industry.
Either way it is great software just needs to be more affordable.
