This is by far one of my most favorite places to eat at? Why you may ask is the food of course, its down home country style cooking just like I grew up eating; Always good, Always fresh, and always the best!

I have many favorites to choose from when I visit Cracker Barrel, if its for dinner or supper time I like to order the Grilled pork chops with mashed potatoes ( real potatoes folks not instant), corn on the side and those light fresh Buttermilk biscuits. mmmm mmmm Good!! They have two different versions of this you can order, I have my choice
of being a “human” and only eating the one pork chop or if I’m really
hungry and want to be a “pig” I can order the two pork chop meal, its a bit more but when you are hungry you are hungry am I right?

I don’t know what they marinade their pork chops in but they are always so tender and so darn good, yes even at a restaurant you might spot me holding the bones of my pork chop and eating every morsel on there LOL! It’s that good!

You know I am a person who does a lot of their own cooking and baking at home, so its a real treat for me to be able to go somewhere like Cracker Barrel and get such great food and you know what? They make their buttermilk biscuits even better than what I can, and I think mine are pretty darn good, but ( trust me) these are even better, so light, so delicate, yet done to perfection! AWESOME!!

They’ve plenty of other great foods to choose from too, whether its Breakfast you are hungry for , you can order it 24/7, ( anytime) of the day or night, nice big hearty portions of food;

The Service is always good, the waitress or waiter will be always at your beck and call to refill your glasses, get you whatever it is
you need, always polite and courteous. I’ve never had a bad one there;

Sometimes the place will be super busy but that’s ok, you’ll get in a lot faster than you think, if the weather is nice outside you can sit out on the front porch there in one of their cool wooden rocking chairs, or mill around the beautiful store inside, many beautiful items to choose from whether its clothes with bird decorations or holiday themes, Beautiful breakables, ( collectibles) that we women like to collect, I myself have purchased many a Christmas or Birthday gift in there for loved ones or just treated myself to something pretty. They also sell many of their own preserves in jars, there are some cool toys for the kids and tons of great candy to choose from; So yeah if you have to wait maybe 10-20 minutes there is plenty to do while waiting, and I’ve never had to wait more than 30 minutes ever at any Cracker Barrel;

I love the old time theme that “is” Cracker Barrel, the big old stone fireplace is my favorite and in early fall/through out Winter it will be blazing a nice fire, you can also sit in front of it if you like and play a game of checkers there…(G)! The Walls are also
filled with many of the old time “themes” like items you would have found in local general type stores back in the late 1800’s or early 1900’s…very cool, very charming, very country which is what I love about it;

Even when I’ve been traveling to other states, my friends and I always stop to eat at a local Cracker Barrel because we know the food is going to good, the service will be fast and most of all we will leave there stuffed like pigs and our pocket book not broken!!

I’ve ate at Cracker Barrel many of them here In Missouri, In Kentucky, and even more so in Tennessee, they are everywhere down south, and they all are AWESOME!

If you’ve never stopped at one, please trust me when I say you will not be disappointed in the service, or the food;
