Verbatim DVD-Re Writable discsItem: Verbatim DVD-Re Writable discs
With the threats facing a daily internet user such as me, like viruses, spy ware and ad ware, I constantly have to make sure that all the information on my system is properly and regularly updated and backed up.
I have an external hard drive with a total capacity of 150 GB, but I know hard drives are very fragile, in whatever form they come. So in order to backup all the really important stuff I have I make use of Verbatim DVD-RW discs as a secondary backup medium. These DVD-RW discs serve my aim very well as their capacity of 4.7 GB fits all of the current information that I need to backup and they allow me to do so quickly and in a structured manner. I usually use these discs to backup all the latest music that I have, as well as materials such as the current month’s spreadsheet and the likes. Verbatim DVD-RW discs are the brand that I choose above any other as I have had only great experiences with using them in the past. I found that these discs are really easy to use with any burning software as they are compatible with all kinds of media recording formats. If I want to back up one of my DVD movies, the Verbatim DVD-RW is compatible with the burning software’s option of creating a DVD disc that works with any regular home entertainment system that plays DVDs. Usually when I back up data, I choose the “data disc” option and the 16x discs store the data safely. These discs are particularly useful to me because they are cheap but are in no way compromised in terms of quality. I also find them to be quite durable, making them all-in-one compatible physical storage media. Rating: 8
