I have really bad neck and back pain due to a (MVA) in 1996 and as each year passes, the pain in my lower back worsens;

My disc’s are deteriorating and my Doctor has had me on this powerful drug for awhile now; I’ve always known it was pretty powerful, really strong but after reading all about it again by doing a search for it on the internet, WOW!! I had forgotten some of what the details are on this one, and if you take it already you might want to read up on it again like I just did.

Just type in the word Carisoprodol and it should take you right to the Wikipedia page for it, I would type in the URL here but not sure if that’s allowed or not so as I said do read all about this high powered medication again ok, just for your own safety;

I never take mine until I am ready for bed, within 30 minutes you will start to feel the effects of becoming very drowsy, and relaxed ( not pain free now) but relaxed;

Never take this if you are going to be driving, please don’t do that;

All medications do come with print out sheets and most Pharmacisits are good about knowing what you take and what new meds you are prescribed and how they might interact with each other;
It is very important and up to us too, to make sure of what we have and how it might effect us;

When I take my (soma) its hard for me to wake up the next morning meaning I am so relaxed I just don’t want to get up, and I feel all fuzzy-headed, you know?

We all react differently to this pill and we all have different medication but most of all be safe;

I have a good friend who also takes this pill and I must tell you she just gets really “dingy” with it, I mean she will get “silly”
like she is drunk and she will “slur” her words, its funny to me, but its not really and I say its funny because I’ve been with
her when we’ve traveled to different places before and I’ve seen how it effects her, so trust me when I say NEVER take this if you
are going to be driving ok? Not a good idea at all.

Read the papers that come with your medication, talk to your doctor about it especially when something is “new” don’t be
afraid to ask your Doctor questions or your Pharmacist, thats their job and they usually are really helpful;

And above all else please keep this medication out of the reach of small children ok? You would not want them getting a hold of it,
always be smart and be safe when young kids are in your home;

It’s a great medication don’t get me wrong its just wise to be smart with this one ok?
