Burns seems upset. He feels his life is just wasted. He tells Smithers that he is thinking of selling the plant. Meanwhile Homer is struggling with the coke machine. His dollar note is tattered and torn and hence is not accepted by the machine. He begins to cry and Smithers consoles him thinking Homer is crying because Mr Burns is selling the plant. He affirmatively tells Homer that Mr Burns would not sell it even for $100 million. Because of this the stock prices begins to rise. Every employee becomes quite rich because of this except one person. Well no prizes for guessing! Some Germans are interested in buying the plant. They buy it from Mr Burns. However the Germans are very disappointed with the way the plant is being controlled. However Mr Burns feels that money is everything, but something makes him realize that money is not everything. What is it?
This is a really funny episode. Right from the start you will come across so much humor. The way Homer tries to fool the machine is really amusing. Then there’s the time when Homer again makes a very horrible business deal by selling his shares off at a very low price. Another funny scene is where the Germans announce that there is going to be a layoff, the following people are removed. And only 1 person is removed. No prizes for guessing again who it is! The episode teaches Mr Burns a lesson. Something does affect the mean old man after all! Rating: 9
