I started attending their services and gradually I felt that something inside me is changing. My life was turned right side up and it was never the same again. I became an active member ever since. I am teaching in Kid’s Church every Sunday, assisting in Leadership Seminars conducted by the church and even became a volunteer secretary for five months.

Victory Christian Fellowship Los Baños or VCF-LB is a local church of the worldwide organization, Every Nation, headed by Pastor Steve Murrell. The missions of the church are two things: Honor God and Make Disciples.

For over five years that I’ve bee a member of the church, I’ve been taught to live the mission. I was trained how to be a disciple of Christ and I made disciples as well by inviting my family, friends, classmates and acquaintances to make a decision which I made five years ago.

VCF-LB provides avenues for their member to continually grow in their spirituality. The church has 3 services every Sunday which are vastly populated by families and kids. There’s a youth service every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon to cater to the needs of the students around the town. The church also conducts leadership seminars in schools and outreach programs to the needy. There are also different ministries that a church member can be a part of like Music, Ushering, IT, Kid’s Church and Arts and Crafts ministries. I first joined the Ushering ministry and later on moved on to become a Kid’s Church teacher for 4 years.

I can say that VCF-LB is one of the major factors that made me a better Christian. I couldn’t be more thankful for the training, guidance and the mentorship I acquired throughout the years. But more than anything, what I value most from the church are the relationships that I have had with other members. I am assured that I have friends whom I can count on anytime, anywhere. They are real friends that will push me towards God and not away from Him.
