Everyone women on earth has wished at one point or another that she could get rid of her period. I most certainly have, and had this wish in mind when I went to my Ob/Gyn last June. I had just had a baby in December and was looking to try another form of birth control. My Dr. recommended that I try Seasonale. He stated that it was a perfectly safe method of birth control and was very conveniant for most of his patients. Well, as good as this sounded, I was skeptical. Surely, it wasn’t good to only have four periods per year! He explained to me the facts about this pill and assured me that trying Seasonale would not send my hormones into a tailspin. So I decide to give it a try. What can I say, I am a convert for life. I love this medicine, I truly do only have 4 periods per year. I will say, that during the first 6 months of being on this medicine, I would pretty regularly have some break through bleeding. But after 6 months using seasonale, I feel wonderful and enjoy the break from the time of month that all women so look forward too. I would recommend this medication for everyone. Of course, before taking any type of new medicine, you should consult with you personal physician.
