I had not seen the previous part of this movie series, so I was hoping that I would not miss out on some related scenes. Thankfully this movie does not have much relevance to the previous movie. A person can watch this without having to watch the earlier part.
The movie had two stories running simultaneously, one involving Mr Reed and Susan’ wedding, and the other the cosmic radiation problem. This made the film very engaging and entertaining. The cosmic radiation was caused by the Silver Surfer. I must say was very impressed with the look that was given to him. The shine, the look all was so well done. So this Silver Surfer was sent to destroy the earth. The Fantastic Four find it difficult to take him down. that is when they decide to take help from someone. Who you ask? Will not reveal that secret, but just one hint, The enemy of my enemy is my friend. And that is what happens here. Jessica Alba looks stunning in the film. Her performance as The Invisible Girl as well as a would be wife is simply amazing. Chris Evans is the jovial guy always cracking jokes. He adds humor to this film. The visual effects are stunning. I really loved the scene where the entire river in London gets dried out and a huge crater is created. The ending of the movie is fabulous. I could not imagine it ending in a better way. All in all a brilliant film. Rating: 8
