Pymatunning State Park Ohio-Pennsylvania BorderItem: Travel - Pymatunning State Park
In my opinion there is nothing more beautiful then the land God has created in this wonderful country we call America. One of those hidden gems is Pymatuning State Park on the border of Ohio and Pennsylvania. It has 65 cabins, 375 campsites, swimming beach, hiking trails, 10 boat launch ramps, and plenty of fishing. My family loves to spend the weekend here hiking, swimming, fishing, and then sitting by the fire making up ghost stories and then sitting up all night because they hear something in the woods. While exploring the woods you will get to see a variety of wildlife such as beavers, squirrels, ducks and bald eagles. In fact on the Pennsylvania side the nests of bald eagles are visible and my children could sit for hours with the binoculars and watch them. This is really a great lowcost weekend, and you could return week after week and never be bored. Also in the winter you can ice skate on the lake and go ice-fishing. This is definately a year round park. Rating: 10
