Etsy.comItem: Etsy.com
Etsy.com is a site that a certain segment of people know quite a bit about, but then a lot have never heard of.
I discovered this site when I was pregnant and looking for unique thing for my child’s nursery. I quickly found exactly what I was looking for. Since then, I have been continually amazed at the content that the site has to offer: handmade gifts, art, vintage goodies, and so much more. I love what I’ve gotten off of there so far: a very nice baby blanket, vintage decor, artwork for my walls, sewing instructions, and general “treats” for myself and others. It’s a ton of fun to browse the many, many sections and see the creative work of others all over the world. I just bought a sewing instruction booklet on there today and I look forward to using someone else’s creative work together with my handwork. I would have never found this gift in any other store. I think there is one way that the site could update its check out process. For each buyer that you buy something from, you have to complete a seperate check out and payment process. While I understand the need for this, it shouldn’t be that difficult to find a way to streamline the buying process. That being said, I still really like the site and everything that it has to offer. I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique gift or something for that hard-to-shop-for person on their list. Rating: 9
