Kodak Easy Share C913Item: Kodak Easy Share C913
Kodak Easy Share C913 was my very first digital camera. My husband got it for me as a Christmas Present way back in 2004. He got it for 9 thousand Philippine Peso ( that is approximately $180 way back then ) which is comparatively affordable. Since I know nothing of digital cameras, I was a little intimidated by it. I was hesitant to manipulate the buttons and the knobs. But then, with the help of the instruction manual combined with my interest in photography, I was able to discover its wonderful features. It is indeed very user friendly for beginners like me. You can change its scene and color modes accordingly. There is the auto, sport, portrait, snow, fireworks, and backlight. The cherry on top is its video feature that enables user to capture moving moments without the need to use bulky video tapes. With two AA rechargeable batteries and a memory card, you’re good to go. It produces outcomes are quality photos that can be printed clearly in huge sizes (up to 30 x 40 inches). It is also chic and quite compact and lightweight so bringing it anywhere is not a problem. It perfectly fits a small purse. The only down side of it is that I can’t seem to get a perfect night shot. I loved this camera so much I brought it with me when I moved to United States. After using it for 4 years, it gracefully served its purpose. My husband got me a new more advanced version of it for my birthday. So I am passing my good old camera to my favorite 15 year old cousin. This too will be his very first digital camera. With the looks of it, it will endure a few more years of Kodak moments. Now that there’s a variety of a digital camera in the market, the price is reduced to $120, who wouldn’t fall in love for such a reliable little thing with an exceptional price? Rating: 8
