Shilo Inn Suites HotelItem: Shilo Inn Suites Hotel
The Warrenton area is nice and quiet. The Shilo Inn is really handy. It is really close to the main drag and the Shilo Inn sign is right next to the street so it is impossible to miss. The hotel has four stories and has a white exterior with a grey roof. The hotel has a rectangular shape with an attached carport and lobby is attached to the carport. The hotel looks like it is located in a empty field so there is very little landscaping to the property. There are some shrubs but it is basically lawn. The parking lot is quite large and does not circle the hotel but extends out from it.
The lobby is quite pretty. The floor in the lobby is all tile with the colors of grey, blue, tan and hints of purple very pretty. The walls are white and so is the registration desk. The registration desk is quite long, probably about 25 feet if not more. Against the back wall of the registration desk are all the awards which the hotel and staff received. There is a huge white clock on the back wall also. There was a very large framed print behind the registration desk. There was a large floral arrangement on the registration desk. In front of the registration desk was a small seating area. There was a blue, purple, red and tan area rug which the furniture stood on. There were two periwinkle colored cushioned chairs right in front of the desk. Between the two chairs was a wrought iron end table with a white top. There was a sofa of that same periwinkle color kitty corner to the chairs. The chairs and the sofa were extremely soft and easy to fall asleep in. Between the one chair and the sofa was another end table with a white top. They also put another floral arrangement on that end table, but was quite a bit larger that the other one. Then in the middle of the grouping was a coffee table with a few magazines on it. The window treatments in the room were pull back drapes with a valance made from the same fabric as the drapes. The color of the drapes was a variety of blues and white. The king bedroom was quite large. The walls were painted light pink with a white ceiling. The carpeting was blue. There was a large window at the end of the room with an air conditioning unit below it. The drapes were also dark blue. The bed was really comfortable and so were the pillows on the bed. The headboard was blond was rectangular and was real simple. The coverlet on the bed extended all the way to the floor and was very colorful. The colors of the coverlet were red, white and a variety of blues. On either side of the bed were night stands of the same color wood as the bed. There were blue lamps with white lamp shades on each of the night stands. Over the bed was a lovely framed print. Toward the window of the room was a sofa upholstered in a grey blue color. Over the sofa was also another framed print. On the right side of the sofa was a brass floor lamp with a white lamp shade. In front of the window was a square table with two chairs. There was a chest of drawers in the room and a work desk. The tv set was sitting on the chest of drawers. The pool area was very relaxing and pretty. The ceiling was blue and there were white beams extending from wall to wall. There were several windows in the pool area which looked out on the reception area. The tiles in the pools area were blue grey and the pool itself was blue. There were several plastic chairs in the pool area, but there really wasn’t a whole lot of room. The property was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rating: 9
