I am a big fan of Pop-Tarts pastries so I decided to buy the new half chocolate, half strawberry Splitz box. Previously I enjoyed both chocolate and strawberry flavors, but I wondered if it would be a good combination if they were mixed. The pastry itself has chocolate filling on one side and strawberry filling on the other. The top of the pastry is decorated according to the filling, pink sprinkles for strawberry and chocolate swirls for chocolate.
Often times I bring the Poptarts to school as a quick snack between classes or in study hall. It is just more fun to eat two-flavored pastry rather then one. This snack gives me energy for the rest of the day and I am able to concentrate in even the slowest of classes. I also enjoy the variety of the flavors; you can eat this thing so many different ways! Often times I eat one side first and then the other so it seems like I ate twice as many pastries. Occasionally I like to chomp it down and enjoy the chocolaty and strawberry flavors mix in my mouth.
The only negative thing about this product is that I find it a bit too sweet and I must have water nearby or the sweetness will be in my mouth for a few hours.
