I bought this laptop, Dell Inspiron 1525 about three months ago. For some notes, i’m in Indonesia and Dell are famous for not having a great support here. But as a news follower, i heard that Dell has just choose new reseller for its brand here. And this new reseller guaranteed that the product will have great support, and launch heavy marketing campaign in every newspaper that i read. So i finally decide to bought this laptop from local online computer store. And they delivered it in quick, just one day from the day of purchase, they delivered the laptop to my house.

The laptop, comes in Street Pattern colour which is black but with some silver stripe on its side. The cover build quality was great, it’s glossy so it gets full of smudge after a while, but it’s not easy to scrath. And the design is superbly excellent! I might add. The Street Pattern colour’s are probably the most perfect design on 15,4 inch laptop that i can find in here.

It has 4 USB port, 2 on the right and another 2 on the left and each of the 2 is stacked after another. This is not a perfect design for me, because some flashdisk right now are too big to fit in stacked USB port where i may put another bulky usb item. -1 for this. And oh by the way, the laptop is very thin for this kind of size. It has streamline shape where it gets more thin on the edge, so it’s cool. And the weight is not as heavy as other 15 or even 14 inch laptop that i had before (i’ve had HP Compaq Presario V3000 series before).

The inside cover is not so perfect. It’s from plastic, and feel so filmsy. It’s not comparable to the outside cover, because it’s so poorly crafted. The touchpad is average, but the keyboard is excellent! Another thing that is superbly better than its competitor’s laptop are the keyboard. Dell Inspiron 1525’s keyboard is not noisy, and perfect even on bulky fingers (like mine).

Display is glossy, but it’s perfect in colour and bright. Everything else is kinda average, so i will put this one on average rate. But for daily use, this laptop is pefect. I think 7 is the perfect score for this laptop.
