I love watching movies. As a way to relax or unwind, I simply put on a DVD, lie on the couch and watch as many movies as my eyes can take. I have several DVD players at home but my most reliable one is the Sony DVD/VHS Combo SLV-D380P Player. It combines a hi-fi VCR and DVD player, all in one component. I can still play my old VHS tapes and VCDs as well as my new DVDs using the same player. I can even record TV shows while watching a DVD through auto clock and channel set-up (I love recording TV shows so this feature is great). It’s also tuner-ready which simply means that it needs a tuner from another video source like for instance a cable, satellite, and TV. It comes with a multi-brand TV remote control (important for me because once I’m lying on the couch, I’ll never get up). It also supports CD and MP3 playback; has a 4-head hi-fi stereo (Dolby Digital), flash rewind, and auto head cleaner (you don’t have to buy a separate head cleaner). It has 1 DVD tray and 1 VCR slot and even has a screen saver. Another good thing about my Sony SLV-D380P DVD player is its being light and compact. I can move it to my room, the den or wherever I may be. It’s also quite cheap compared to other quality brands. Watching movies has never been this pleasurable.
