Call of Duty 4 (xbox360)

There’s not many video games that capture my interest these days - but Call of Duty 4 is certainly one of them.

The first thing that leaps of of the screen at you is the quality of the presentation - the graphics are amongst the best I’ve ever seen, this generation of games consoles are now coming into their own and this is one game to use as a show case of the technology.

Having excellent graphics is one thing but the games uses them to set the tension and excitement levels that you seldom reach in todays video games. When you put on the night vision headset and you are caught in the middle of a gun fight you can see the bullets ping past you in a truly frightening manor.

The level designs are realistic from the initial training level onwards - everything is placed for a reason both in single player and multiplayer levels. The games designers really deserve a pat on the back.

Whilst mentioning multiplayer I want to point out that I’ve yet to see any lag on Live during multiplayer games.

This game is truly next gen and takes the series to a whole new level.
Whether you a call of duty fan or just a casual player you are going to love this

Call of Duty World at War
Call of Duty World at War just hasn't made with my expectations thus far. Call of Duty Modern Warfare at least for me was much more fun than the most current game. I don't know the weapons don't seem balanced out nearly enough in this game. Bolt Action Rifles ...
