Kesari bath recipeItem: Kesari bath recipe
Kesari bath is another kind of Indian traditional recipe, which is prepared in most of the festivals and functions. This is very very tasty and nutritional recipe, which any one can prepare as it is very easy to prepare.
Ingredients: sooji (rawa) 1 cup, sugar 2cups, milk 3 cups, cashew nuts and raisins according to your choice, ghee (melted butter) 4 tea spoons, saffron colour a pinch, riped banana 1. Method: first of all take the pan and shallow fry the rawa or sooji adding a little ghee, when the rawa turns to be little golden brown, add the milk in to it and boil it well. When this much is done now add the sugar and stir it well to avoid any lumps. Now also add the ghee and mix it well and cook it for some more time. Now finally add the colour and mix well. Now if it feels that it is cooked enough, peal off the banana, mash it well and add it to the Kesari bath and mix well and then turn off the flame. Finally garnish it with the cashew nuts and raisins. It is ready to serve. Normally kesari bath is served hot, and it also tastes good when it is chilled. Rating: 9
