I much prefer a bed and breakfast to a hotel. They make you feel like you are at home, are not crowded and the owners can point you to all the local places. This one is perfect for anyone visiting the Albany New York area. It is small with just 5 rooms, historic - built in 1775 and you can get to Saratoga for the races in August and September in no time at all. Rates are reasonable $98 - $145 and they have special rates for business travelers and include a full breakfast, eggs and all. Even the small single room is spacious and the suite is pure Victorian luxury. Yes, they do have wireless internet service, a choice of private or semi private baths and a nice peaceful garden to sit around in. Be sure to make arrangements for a car because once you get out of the city, there is limited public transportation.
