Golden State’s starting Center Andris Biedrins has developed into a legitimate Scoring threat this season thus far. He has already scored 25 and 23 point games early on and has grabbed a career high with 18 rebounds the other night. He scores on a variety of ways, he can post near the basket and display his spin moves and head fakes. He is so aggressive on the offensive rebounds as well, this is his primary scoring opportunity since the warriors play at a high tempo game that often results to many rebounds. Biedrins can also play the high low post with Harrington and the screen and rolls with Baron Davis. Defensively, he is so valuable for the warriors as he gets to defend the heavyweights out west.
With Biedrins continued development, it shouldn’t be hard to imagine the Warriors making a push to the play-offs even after losing Jason Richardson via draft day trade with the Charlotte Bobcats.
