His first record sold 15 million which made him the only rap artist to achieve diamond status within recent memory. In addition to this he started his group called G-unit with Young Buck, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo who later put out a cd titled “Beg For Mercy. In addition to rap 50 has many huge amounts of money by selling Vitamin water to Coca-cola and developing a clothing line for Ecko along with a shoe line for Reebok. He has also attempted to put out low cost Apple computers for disadvantaged children and even had his logo on condoms. 50 cent has used rap to get rich like nobody before him, he has shown he had a great mind for business and he is very sucessful.
