Ok, I’ll admit it, when My Super Ex-Girlfriend came out, I thought it was going to be stupid. That’s why I didn’t see it at the theater or even rent it on DVD.
However, when I finally saw it on cable the other day, I have to admit I was really impressed with it.
The movie is simply hilarious both from the time he starts dating G girl and suspects she might be a super hero to well after he breaks up with her and she starts trying to torture him. It’s actually an interesting insight into the dating life of a super hero and what can go wrong.
I wouldn’t recommend watching this movie with your kids because there are quite a few (funny) sex scenes in it and I’m not sure if that’s something you would want them watching. But, overall, I think this is a great movie to watch on the couch with your significant other. If nothing else, you’ll be thankful he/she doesn’t possess super powers.
