Hyatt Regency Lake TahoeItem: Hyatt Regency Hotel /Resort
I’ve always wanted to go to Lake Tahoe, and I got the chance last year. It was a very beautiful place, and I went with my aunt and her family, together with my little cute cousin. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency over there, and I must say that this hotel has a very wonderful atmosphere, great and fine dining, a fun pool and a private beach as well. The cons would be that some of the staff appeared to be snobbish to me, and I dislike the casino pretty much. Maybe because I hate gambling. On my stay there, I was experience some great hotel amenities, and I was so soaking myself almost the whole day suntanning on the private beach, and did some swimming. I managed to get a good tan, ate some delicious food over there, and I was truly impressed with the Bed and Breakfast room service. My little cousin really enjoyed the fun pool, and she wanted me to dip in as well. The lifeguard did not even frown at me. But I have a not so nice experience with one of the waitress in the hotel, and she practically shoved the plate at me, when I requested for a new serving, since the food I tasted seemed cold. I wanted a warm one, and she said that is not possible, so I requested for a new plate with the same menu. But that was about all of my discomfiture there. But, there are quite a number of snobbish waitresses around as well, and some of the services provided; when requesting for instructions, the staff seemed not to keen on explaining. I wasn’t aware that there could be a snow season on Lake Tahoe, and occasionally, we experienced some snow flakes. It was truly beautiful, and to go back to the hotel freezing and all, we bought some nice hot chocolate, provided by room service as well. I am truly pleased with the ambiance of the hotel and the room service. I felt that there were just so much to explore, but I wasn’t quite impressed with the staff as I have mentioned above. The view from the private beach was great as well, and it would be a fun and romantic way to spend the day there, sitting and relaxing, while waiting for the sun to set. A perfect ambiance to spend with your loved ones. The arcade games were not so impressive, but I wasn’t minding that, since I am not a heavy gamer. My experience in the hotel is somewhat pleasant, though I have mixed feelings about the staff there. Rating: 8
