Black Order by James RollinsItem: Black Order Book Review
Black Order is written by James Rollins, and is one of my favorite novels in fictional stories. This story is about arson and murder. Charles Darwin’s bible has been stolen, and he does not know who took it away and for what purpose. At the same time, Commander Gray Pierce dives headlong into a mystery that dates back to Nazi Germany, and found out some horrific experiments performed in an abandoned laboratory in Poland. There are also strange behavior from Buddhist monks who turn to cannibalism and torture. In this story has also the character of Lisa Cummings. She is a young American doctor investigating the atrocity. Without no rhyme and reason, Lisa found out that she has become a target of a brutal assassin working for clandestine forces that want the affair buried at any cost. Lisa has an ally in Painter Crowe, a Director of SIGMA Force, and together they solve they mystery together. This story has the elements of the Da Vinci Code movie, only a bit more complex, and I find myself getting bored at times, trying to crack the mystery. If you love complicated novel, here is one. The ending is also pretty much confusing. Rating: 2
