While many commercials advertise for free credit report.com after you sign up, fill in all your information only to find it really cost anywhere from $7.95 on up. Now truly a totally free one does exist. Its called annual credit report.com. However you can only access your reports from all 3 reporting agencies only once per year. Who cares! All one needs is once per year anyway. Its totally and I mean totally free! After you fill in all the information you also have a choice to see the results on line or if you would like it can be mailed to you. You also have the choice of only seeing your last 4 digits of your social security number rather than the whole number for security purposes. I found a mistake on my report, sent a written letter and within 1 week received a copy of the corrected version. Now thats what I call free. So next time you hear about free credit report there are tons of websites.The only one to choose is Annual Credit Report.com.
