I am 30 pounds overweight. The doctor prescribed this for me and it does not seem to do much. The pill seems to cut the cravings a little bit, but not as much as I expected. Sometimes it makes me a little dizzy. I am supposed to take it in the morning but when I do by evening when my cravings start, it seems like the pill is worn off. They don’t give me the shakes. My mouth seems to be dry alot. I drink a lot of water. When I feel the affect of the meridia it seems like nothing tastes good. When I am not drinking a lot of water, Meridia seems to have a constipating affect on me. The price of the stuff is rediculous. There have been times in the evening when I have cleaned out the refrigerator or ate 6-7 cookies and the pill doesn’t work at all. For the price, the pill isn’t worth it and insurance doesn’t cover it. I can’t afford to throw these away and try something else. Meridia 10mg just aren’t worth it.
