Daniel Craig is a GREAT 007Item: Casino Royale movie
Initially I thought that Daniel Craig would not be a good James Bond. I thought he was not worthy of the 007 title. I am Bond purist. At first glance, I thought that he did not fit the style. Plus, he seemed like he had too much softness about him. So I thought that he would seem goofy when trying to be suave and debonair. That preconception lasted about 2 seconds into the movie. After I saw what he was capable of and what he brought to the role as James Bond, I received such an adrenaline rush because I knew that the movie was going to be worth my time and money. This movie focused on a younger Bond. He was extremely cocky. From the start, he knew he was good and he flaunted it with everyone. M had to put him in his place. However you can tell that they have great professional respect for each other. This movie answers all those questions surrounding the evolution of Bond, a man that we have come to know and love. As the movie progresses, we see the humanistic side of him. In all the Bond movies, his country is his true love, using beautiful women to alleviate the baser instinct needs. In the beginning he was a different type of person. Yet, we begin to understand how Bond is deeply affected by his life experiences and molded by that. Whether you love his suave debonair ways, or hate his misogynistic tendencies, everyone can agree that there is no other like 007 James Bond. Rating: 10
