G.E. offers a 27″, unitized, one piece, washer/dryer. The model number of this unit is WSM2700D. The washer has 3 wash cycles, one wash/spin speed, 3 water levels, and 3 wash/rinse temperatures. The controls are electromechanical.
WSM2700DWW is the electric dryer’s model number of this unit, while WSM2780DWW is the gas dryer’s model number. The washer is on the bottom of this machine, while the dryer is attached, sitting just up high enough to allow the user to open the washer door, vertically, with room to spare. This particular washer/dryer comes in your choice of white or white! (rather like buying a Ford Model T, ‘comes in any color you like, as long as you like black!’).
The dryer that is attached to this unit has automatic dry control.
The choices for drying are: Automatic regular (the hottest heat), automatic perm. press, delicate cycle, timed cycle (where you set the exact amount of minutes you want the dryer to run), and air fluff. The dryer controls are set just under the dryer section, and the exhaust is vented through the rear.
The entire unit is 75 inches high, and 27 inches across. An LP gas supply WILL require a separate conversion kit. This is important to remember. The gas dryer does come factory equipped for 20,000 BTUs.
