Item: Potato and carrot rice

Ingredients:
1. Rice : 1 cup
2. Potato 1
3. Carrot - 1
4. Onion- 1
5. Ginger 1 small piece
6. Garlic 5 flakes
7. Jeera powder 1 tsp
8. Coriander powder 1 tsp
9. Masala powder ½ tsp
10. Water 1 and 11/2 cups
11. Green chilly 4
12. Turmeric powder ½ tsp
13. Mint leaves a few
14. Oil- 2 table spoon
15. Ghee 1 tsp
16. Salt as per taste.
Procedure:
1. Take pressure cooker and add oil.
2. Add chopped onion,green chilly,ginger, garlic and mint leaves.
3. Fry till onions becomes golden brown.
4. Add chopped potato and carrot.
5. Add salt, turmeric powder,jeera powder, coriander powder, masala powder and fry thoroughly.
6. Now add water and sauté well.
7. Add rice and sauté once
8. Cover the dish and wait for three whistles.
9. Add ghee and gently sauté the content.
10. Garnish with coriander leaves.
11. Serve hot with curd chutney or kachember.
