Cheesecake Factory=YummyItem: Cheesecake Factory
The Cheesecake Factory is known for its numerous varieties of cheesecake. I visited the Atlanta Buckhead location a few weeks ago. I ordered the grilled pork chops. At $16.95, the price was average for comparable restaurants. The pork chops were thick. Although they were thick, they were not dry or overcooked. The meat was well seasoned and the apples added the right amount of sweetness to enhance the flavor of the pork chops. There was so much food, so I did not finish my entr’e to ensure that I had room for dessert. Since I am a cheesecake purist, I opted of the original topped with strawberries. The menu description said “original creamy cheesecake topped with glazed fresh strawberries”. These fresh strawberries were not little strawberry pieces amidst gobs of red-colored goop, but whole humongous strawberries with a light glaze. Since I love strawberries, I ordered an extra side of strawberries. The total for this delectable dessert was $8.00. Yes, this is more than average cost of a dessert. However it was worth every penny. The cheesecake was so creamy, with a silky smooth texture. The graham cracker crust was just right for me; not too crunchy or too soft. With each spoonful, I ate half of a strawberry and a little bit of cheesecake. Savoring the flavor, it took 10 minutes for me to eat four bites. I saved the rest of my cheesecake for later in the night. If you love cheesecake, you have to eat at the Cheesecake Factory, even if it is only for dessert. Rating: 10
