I was very impressed, and instantly hooked, when I had first come across Cafepress.com ‘ a website that allows you to create and sell your own, custom-designed products, from clothes to coffee cups to refrigerator magnets. You can even publish your own books with them!
Cafepress.com is free to join. There are paid upgrades if you want to expand and upgrade your virtual store, but the basic membership is free, so anyone can join and start selling their stuff within hours. All you do is choose products, upload your images that you want to see on them, and set the price. Then you just advertise your store, and when somebody places an order, the purchased item will be produced and shipped to them � and you get your share of the price. The process of preparing and uploading your images might take some time to become familiar with, but it is not overly complicated.
I’ve had my own little store for some time now. I do not actively promote it, the items I have are mostly intended for a limited group of friends. That’s the good thing about Cafepress: you can have your store, no matter whether it is big or small.
