Tesco Swirly Chocolate Cheesecake DessertItem: Tesco Swirly Chocolate Cheesecake Dessert
I am not too keen on the Tesco Swirly Chocolate Cheesecake as it is basically too sweet for me and seems less like cheesecake and more like a vanilla and chocolate mousse on top of a sweet, crumbly biscuit. Apart from the fact that I did not like the biscuit base because it is too soft and sickly sweet for my taste, this is not a bad dessert with a gorgeous chocolatey taste as long as you do not mind it being overly sweet. But as I am a fan of quality cheesecake, I found this disappointing.
This is a single serving of dessert that comes in its own individual pot and can be found in the dessert cooler section at Tesco. On top of the sweet base is, as I say, is what seems like a creamy mousse that has the flavour of vanilla and white chocolate and just the subtlest hint of actual cheesecake flavour. I am not overly keen on this as I find it rather sickly and it is a poor excuse for a cheesecake in my opinion. There are stripes of milk chocolate on the top and I think this is a quality chocolate as the flavour really comes through and it is a delicious chocolate. So, not only did I not particularly enjoy this Swirly Chocolate Cheesecake but I managed to consume a whopping 435 calories in the process! The only thing I really like about this dessert is the flavour of the milk chocolate that is on the top. The rest of it is not too recognizable as cheesecake and is too sweet for me. Rating: 5
