Recipe for the Carrot Cake shotItem: Recipe for the Carrot Cake shot
As a former bartender, I feel like I’m giving away some of my secrets, but this was one of my recipes that’s usually guaranteed to cheer someone up if they’re having a bad day. As a bartender, you’re not always guaranteed to have happy customers, so this was one of the go to recipes I used to turn their frown around. First, you have to find out if the person you’re serving this to likes carrot cake, and if they answer yes, it’s pretty much a guaranteed winner. The ingredients I’m about to share with you probably sound like an unlikely combination, but the result is an amazing similarity to tasting actual carrot cake. Here are the only ingredients you’ll need: 1/2 ounce Bailey’s Irish (you can substitute any other brand of Irish cream liqueur if you’re on a limited budget) I prefer to chill these ingredients over ice, shake lightly, strain, and serve in a shot glass. I’ve received the best response serving it chilled, but it’s not absolutely necessary. Rating: 9
