Aloha to all the readers out there! Let me introduce myself. I have lived in Hawaii for around 20 years now, so I am officially considered a local. I am 40 years of age, and I love to surf, travel, eat good food, and learn everything I possibly can (within reason) in this all too short lifetime.
I currently reside on the island of Oahu, but have lived on Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island too (we call the island of Hawaii the Big Island, and when referring to the state, which includes all of the islands, we use Hawaii). I visit the other islands frequently because each has something unique to offer. This provides a nice change of scenery and pace so that I never get that feeling of being stuck on an island that some people get.
I joined reviewstream because I love to share my experiences with others who want to know. I have lived a full life and traveled around the world, but my most cherished experiences have been spent right here in Hawaii.
I have decided to review every restaurant, hotel, activity, and business I have experienced while in Hawaii with the hope that it will help readers to have the best time ever while here and avoid some of the real bummer experiences that I had to go through. If there is anything you want to know about Hawaii that I haven't gotten around to writing about yet, let me know, and I'll gladly review it for you! Aloha!
